I'm 21 and I'll be going to SMC full time, will probably do some classes at UCLA part time as well... working on a transfer. My hunt has not gone well. Most places aren't vey suitable because craigslist has too many weirdos or old people... or weird old people. 
So I'm sure there is someone here who might need a roommate, or has a friend that needs one. Alternatively I've already scoped out some places that would be good for me to move into provided I find one or two people to move in with me. My main criteria is that I have my own room, other people sharing a room is A-okay with me. Male or female ok. Lemme know in pm or email. Thanks.
EDIT: Actually if you're a normal, motivated SMC student with a transfer goal that'd be cool too. I have't been looking the SMC route thus far because there doesn't seem to be a practical way to find housing with them.
And yes, I have been using craigslist and the UCLA housing board.
