Xmas and Easter. Well. That will probably change since it was a "family thing" and my family is in IN, and I'm out in LA now.

I've been inside a church once, and I had to be dragged kicking and screaming. Then I had to be brought out kicking and screaming just because I wanted to scream Satanic chants at the altar.

Hm. 4:00 Sat afternoon showed up for rehearsal (I'm sound tech/powerpoint person, depending on the weekend), stayed through the 5:42 service, showed up at 7:45 Sun morning, sat through the same service three more times, got out at 12. Yes, in answer to your question, I do go to church. I learned to do sound from going to church, been doing it for a few years. And I go when I'm not working a service too.

Let's hope this doesn't turn into a Christians vs. Atheist thread like every other one of these. Let's have a civilized debate about this for once.

Sounds very much like me. Actually right now I'm posting from the sound booth, the christmas choir is rehearsing.

What kind of board do you use Shadow Hunter? At my new church they're using a pretty old Yamaha. At my home church, when I'm not at college, we run a 36 channel Mackie for the mains and a 24 channel for the monitors. Crap boards! We've sent them both to the shop at least once because the submix channels fail. Grr.

LOL, I was wondering how long it would take for that to pop up! :)

At my church, there are THREE offerings during the course of the the service...and that's just the morning service!! :Q

I can't afford it.

actually, you can call up a local one and have someone visit you. Free :)

as for the question, how do you define "church" and how do you define "going" ;)

Cheers ! :)

weddings, funerals, and we have mandatory mass at my school (catholic school)

Other than that, I do not go, nor do I practice any religion. I wouldn't call myself an atheist, I am just non-religious.

I am surounded day in day out by religous people, none of them bother me. I dated a methodist once. She was cool, but I guess she just wasn't much interested in me.
