do you get some confirmation that you're registered to vote?

I put my registration in the mail. Should I expect some sort of confirmation that I'm registered to come by mail or whatever? If not, how can I check that I'm registered?
 
you can also check your state govt's website. Michigan has a website with all of the voting info and you could look your name up to see if and where you are registered.
 
I see you are in the People's Republic.

You should get a couple of voters pamplets in the mail.

That will be your clue.
 
i got a bunch of crap trying to confirm my address etc.
recently, i think i got this yellow ballot thingy in the mail with the name/location of my polling place a few weeks ago. problem is i tore it up by accident. hoping that they send a new one since ithink the one i tore up was for the primaries and general election.
