For MLK day...


This is the only holiday we get off here @ school. Not Labor Day, not Veterans' Day, nothing but this one and that seems to be the case at some other places...why?
 
Yup, though I prolly won't get off on Monday.

Robert E. Lee was born on January 19th as well. Try that on for irony.
 
Too new a holiday for most companies to give it off. I think only schools, government workers, and maybe bankers get it off.

damn it i have been debugging C++ too much, when i saw MLK it reminded me of Memory LeaK (used in Purify Memory leak detecting tool) 🙁

well yes and no. m winter break goes till the 26th of jan. so ill be here

but if we had classes we woudl not have off. seeing as we didnt have labor day off. our classes actually started on labor day

Hence why many a redneck calls it Robert E. Lee day to distance themselves from MLK day.

No, I don't get it off. I don't get a holiday off for many, many months unless I take a vacation day 🙁
