Do you get manicures? *POLL* (Intended for men)

I saw on a makeover show that they took a guy for a manicure. I was wondering how many men actually get manicures. I think only my uncle ever gets them of all the men related to me.

Yes I do. Only occassionally at a nail place...I get too many funny looks going in and coming out.

My ex-GF still gives me manicures. She's the one who turned me on to it. I've always been picky about my hands. I.E. I keep my nails short and clean. Also, I have dry skin and put hand lotion on several times a day..can't STAND the feeling of dry, cracked knuckles! *shivers*

I like my manicure, thanks. But no clear nail polish. I draw the line there. Nails and cuticles, but no polish.

I don't know. I would ask him but it is not worth it. My assumption is that he wants to look good since he is big on appearances for his job.

i really dont see what the issue is for men to get them.
No, women will not think you're gay if you get one. actually, its very rare to find a guy with nice hands! that shows that you take care of yourself. it works the same way for men... in every one of the threads about "what turns you (men) on about the opposite sex" most put something along the lines of "girls who take care of themselves"

And yes, it is very relaxing!

i get pedicures, i have not gotten a manicure before. I like it when the hot vietniemese lady rubs my feet for a half hour. pluse they clip all my toenails and scrub off any dry skin. i think its well worth it every few months.

They felt so strange for the next few weeks.. so smooth and shiny... it was quite odd.

I don't even cut my nails with the right tool, I use a wire cutter.

Never had it done. Wouldn't be worth it, since I'm working on a car 3-4x a week. I keep them clean and trimmed by myself, but it wouldn't be worth the $$$ to get it done.

my gf gave me a manicure and pedicure...i'll admit its actually pretty nice. its like getting a hand and foot massage cause she trimmed the nails, buffed, then lotioned. i dont know about strangers touching my hands and feet though...kind of weird in my book.

I haven't gotten a manicure, I should, but I havce recieved pedicures on multiple occasions and I have to say that I love it. Atleast the places I've gone (with my GF) have given me full leg massages, and yes it feels damn good. I love Vietnamese (sp?) women!
