I happens to me CONSTANTLY, usually with AIM

I assume some punk kid goes "oh i'll download AIM when I get home from school today, I'll use joemonkey as my screen name, go ahead and msg me!"

here's a short part of one said conversation:

last time this happened to me i was on MSN messenger, the guy didn't believe that i wasn't who i said i was. He finally stopped messaging me after i kept going on about how I was Captain Kirk and that Klingons have invaded Uranus. ah good times.

I've had some guy IM me thinking I was a 30 year old chick who had posted some ad on a personals site. And when I told him I was just an 18 year old dude he was like "Oh I don't do guys, have fun".

I've had that happen too... "I got your IM off a personals site, blah blah blah"

I had another post on here from about 6 months ago where some australian 14yo girl was msging me, then "got caught" by her older sister or something, then her sister msg'd me and it was some crazy slang I couldn't understand. I asked dug to translate but he couldn't 🙁 and now i can't find that thread
