I always wondered why people would doom their kids to a life of torment over their names just because they think it would be funny.

Then again my dad's initials are FJK. He wanted to change his middle name from "James" to "Ulysses Charles" to have cool initials.

My last name (Liechty) is very hard for many people to pronounce when written, or to spell when pronounced. It really helps when I pick up the phone, because I know there's a telemarketer as soon as I hear "Hello Mr. Leechty" or something to that effect. <click>
