What type of job are you interested in knowing this about? Currently I'm working part time at a 7-11 on the weekends when not in university and I can drink all the free pop/coffee/slurpee I want. Also during the later shifts, 3-11pm we are allowed to take 1 or 2 of the write offs for the day.

Also if we fell like it we can have the hotdogs that are written off as we replace the older ones with fresh ones.

Needles to say these are "unwritten rules" you aren't really supposed to go crazy and eat everything, just take a few things here and there.

You're going to have to make a new poll option for me to be able to vote. I work at a tavern as a bartender, and I get free everything (by official policy, not just in practice) while on shift. Free coffee, free fountain drinks (including Red Bull), free draft beer, free bottled beer, and free food, ranging from burgers and potato skins to prime rib. And this isnt free sh!t beer. Our current draft selection is the following:
-Fullers ESB
-Arcadia Ales Whitsun
-Corsendonk Pale
-Newcastle
-Molson
-Einbecker Maibock
-John Courage
-Beamish
-Weltenburger Kloster
-Boddington's

Our bottled beer selection is obviously more extensive, but some of my favorites are:
-Arrogant Bastard Ale
-Carib (think Corona, except actually good)
-Lindeman's Framboise and Kriek
-Corsendonk Dark
-Stone IPA
-Great Lake Burning River IPA
-Sammy Smith's Oatmeal Stout

Yes, I get to drink as many of those per night as I think I can while still competently serving customers. My job rules. The only thing is I've been losing weight (by design), and to keep doing so I have to obviously curb my desire to order a 24oz slab of Prime Rib, rare, and wash it down with a bottle of all of the above named beers.

The company health plan lists, as a preferred practice, "using duct tape to close major wounds"... or, in other words, there are no traditional benefits. The non-traditional benefits have been listed above. My boss actively encourages me to drink beers on shift so I can describe/recommend them to customers. Same goes for the food. And the deserts.

Honestly, I think I'd be a pound or two lighter if the food wasnt so good.

Hehe yeah. We are supposed to replace them every 2-3 hours or so but usually I stretch them a bit as it looks bad if we are writing off 15-20 dogs a day, not that they don't cost the store much. We are also supposed to replace the coffee every 20mins. Ha try working at 7-11 replace the coffee every 20 mins and see if you can get any of your other duties done for the day. Not going to happen. I'm lucky if I get to the coffee twice in one shift. Though if it runs out I try to replace it.

Oh and as for the question, that is a no.

What question is that, the question I asked wasn't a yes/no question?

For the employees of our building we get free soda, coffee, tea, etc. For people in our building for classes or meetings (it's a training site) they get the samep lus food areas that have breakfast items (bagles, donuts, danishes, etc) in themorning and snacks (cookies, chips, candy, etc) in the afternoon. But employees aren't allowed to eat from the food areas...

If by "drinks" you mean tap water, then sure, I get all the free "drinks" that I want.

Well, when the boss wanted to make a buck on the side, he put in a soda machine. Moron didn't set the price though, so it was at the default five cent increment. I went through a lot of nickels and filled up the trunk of my car. :D

That's what it is here at the major corporation I work at.

It's also been like that at every other company I've worked for, major or otherwise.
