I sometimes get them when i lie down to watch TV or something and I get up really quick.
i usually feel dizzy and get blurry vision for a couple of seconds.

but my friend says he gets them from just sitting down for a long time and getting up.
he says sometimes his vision just goes all dark and black, and then he has trouble breathing and his extremeties feel all tingly... this is along with the dizziness.
sounds kinda serious...

what about you ppl?

hehe yeah, exactly. Those are the best. You feel all tingly all over, and then you almost pass out and fall over.

ok, that doesn't sound like a "blood rush to the head" its more like "oh sh!t no blood in the head"

Have your blood pressure checked and go exercise.

Sometimes when that happens I swear I hear Clocks in the background.

It's spooky.

Actually, its the exact opposite of a blood rush. Its called Orthostatic Hypotension or something like that and its when all the blood leaves your head due to gravity and sudden movement (inertia.) They're fun. :) Happens to me a LOT. I guess I have low blood pressure or something (111/60). My vision always goes dark and it feels like theres pressure in my head for a few seconds. I'm always tempted to do some jumping jacks or sprint a few hundred meters to see if I'll pass out, but alas, my common sense always wins.

"Lights go out and I can't be saved
tides that I tried to swim against
have brought me down upon my knees
oh, I beg, I beg and plead"

Oh.. wait.. so this isn't "Coldplay-Clocks"? I mean.. "A Rush of Blood to the Head" was the album.. right?

Once I was on the couch watching tv, then I decide to go to my room to play guitar. So, I jump out of the couch and run up the stairs. I fainted on my bed and was out for about one second. Creepy. :Q

This is just a Warning Sign. Go ask the Scientist. Don't Panic -- he may offer a Parachute so you don't Shiver. Sparks may fly, but We Never Change, do we?
