Trying to get a gauge if we should let our employees off then, since it's mostly client based if a majority of our clients (online retailers) have it off we'll them it off too.

Edit: 11/11 is Veteran's Day (Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 )

Actually, you're referring to Armistice Day...Veteran's day came along much later...Eisenhower signed the law turning Armistice Day into Veteran's Day to celebrate all the veterans, not just those in THe Great War.



I've had two jobs that gave me the day off. One was paid, the other not paid unless I worked. (then double time)
I don't think the majority of people get it off as a paid holiday. Some do, most don't. It IS however, a federal holiday, so government agencies, banks, etc. will have it as a paid holiday.
If your clients are among those kinds of businesses...
