I only floss a couple times a week. Well, I went to the dentist today for a cleaning/checkup and I just knew what was gonna happen. He was gonna floss my teeth and I would probably bleed and he would lecture me about flossing. Just as I predicted, at the end of the appointment, he says "David, you were bleeding when I flossed you, and this indicates to me that you are not flossing." Then he proceeds to lecture me for a few seconds about the importance of flossing.

I feel like Im in elementary school getting in trouble with the teacher.
 
I try to floss at least once a day. I'm not in the habit of doing it every time I brush, though, which means I forget a lot. 🙂 My dental hygenist lectures me, too.
 
I don't think I've ever flossed :Q I probably should. I brush every day of course (but only once). I guess my oral hygeine leaves a lot to be desired.

i get the same lecture every time.

so the one time he gives me it, i floss every single night up until the next appointment.

they still tell me i'm not flossing.

Don't need to, using my Sonicare twice a day is good enough for me. My dentist doesn't bitch about me not flossing anymore, so I guess it works 😛
 
Bleeding a bit? Geez, I bleed every single time I go to the dentist. My gums usually bleed too when I brush my teeth. Always have.
 
I only floss when i'm back home for summer break or such.
At my apartment I never do, but I really should.
 
I'm getting ready to go in for a cleaning. If I get "the lecture", I will shut him down so fast, his head is gonna spin.

Haha! Yep, I get lectured every time. I only end up flossing maybe once a week, if that. I'm just too lazy to. I really need to though, since I've already been treated for gum disease (scaling and root planing, not fun!).

I need to find a deal on a Sonicare...
 
Haha to all the non-flossers. I'm sure as hell your breath will smell like sh!t in the morning, even after brushing the teeth.
 
I don't floss. Last time i went to the dentist my gums bleed like banshees. I got mad and haven't gone back to them. Every time I floss I bleed so why do i want to do it? I brush 3 times a day though.
