Do you Fleabay items that are free after rebate? If so....

Do you list them as "new in box?". If you have to crack them for a UPC lable or serial number you really can't say new in retail box can you. Anybody had experience with this?

In my item description I say: item is new in box (NIB) and the UPC has been carefully removed. However, I always photocopy the UPC before I cut it from the box, and enclose a copy for the high bidder for warranty reasons.
