I usually play games until I get bored with them, whether I have finished at that point or not. A few times I have gotten hooked and played beyond the point of silliness, for example D1/Hellfire, I played so much of that it was just stupid. And WoW for a while was the same, for literally a few years it was all I played, lost much sleep over that one.

Yes and once I figured this out, I stopped buying other games/bundles because even though I want to play them at some time, I never will. I just keep going back to what I always play.

I play 1 game at a time, get completely immersed in it, beat it, and then I am done with that game for good.

I find myself locked into APB:R these days. Can't get enough.

The original was so great, but I've never heard anything positive about Reloaded. How does it compare?

For me, I stay locked in Mechwarrior Online. Been playing War Thunder and Elite: Dangerous lately. Not sure what I think about those.

I usually go through "genre phases".

That is to say, I don't necessarily get locked into one "game", but rather a whole genre. For instance right now, I'm on an historical strategy kick. Europa Universalis IV, Napoleon Total War (modded), and Scourge of War Antietam/Gettysburg.

Also starting to crave some western RPGS: Baldur's Gate, Skyrim (heavily modded), and Morrowind (super heavily modded)

I hate MMO games. Not much into FPS games now either.

I love RTS games and liked ones such as Dune series and Close Combat series.

How can I get Scourge of War? Can I download it online? Do I have to order the CD online?

2006-2008: BF2
2008-2011: UT3
2011-2013: BC2

2014 has been BF4, GTA5 will most likely drag me away from BF4 when it comes to pc.

I typically play one game at a time for a some number of days or weeks before switching to another. There are of course exceptions, I will sometimes balance between 2 completely different genres of games.

For the last month or so, It was Rimworld Alpha, then back to OpenTTD, then my 3rd time trying to figure out Dwarf Fortress... I have played before and managed to survive maybe 2 years in the past, my current fortress has lasted longer, though I turned off invasions as Im right now just making sure I can deal with keeping them happy and fed ....
