Still pictures never do her justice. You must see her move and talk to truly appreciate her beauty.

There is that classical pose with that cig or something. She looks gorgeous in that picture.

Funny...Jennifer Hewitt thinks she is the modern day incarnation of Audrey Hepburn.

For Audrey, one of my favorite movies is Charade, with Cary Grant.

Other beautiful women of earlier movies:
Sophie Loren - google "dolphin"+"Sophia" and see which pictures comes up ;-)
Clara Bow - Wings (1927) - Sex and WWI airplane dogfights - Whoo-hoo!
Katharine Hepburn in Philadelphia Story. Most times she comes off horsey looking but here she really looks gorgeous.
Maureen O'Hara - Fiesty red-head, the movie, "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne is one of the best.

And my all time favortie even though she was mostly TV: Elizabeth Montgomery (from Bewitched)

But I understand I am older and grew up mostly pre-Internet and most of the nudity/pr0n of my pre-teen and teenage years came from somebody's copy of Playboy. Today's hotness is more blatant sexual appearance instead of innuendo.

Add Grace Kelly to that list Amused.

Absolutely. Both could make your heart skip a beat simply by entering a room.

A lot of women make make my groin rumble, but few can stop my heart and make it ache like they can when I watch them.

lol, you guys are totally showing your age!

Maybe that's a good thing. Let me tell you, my 30s have been so much better sexually than my 20s ever were. Like night and day. A lot of that has to do with the women I choose now.

Maturity goes a long way when it comes to sex.

Add Grace Kelly to that list Amused. Audrey is simply breathtaking in so many differnt ways. The way she moves, the way she talks....the entire package. Few women ever get it all rigth but Audrey did.

And Greer Garson.

I like that graceful look much, much better than the cheap, trashy Paris Hilton look. She makes Paris Hilton look like a $2 hooker.

Dude, Paris Hilton does that all by herself.

or Charade

but yea, she had elegance and class. in a sorta Jackie Kenedy sort of way.

That ticked me off when she did that. The vanity...

A better choice would have been Audrey Tatou (terrible picture of her someone posted earlier), or, and I hate to say it cause she has 0% of the charm or grace, Calista Flockhart.

Portman is more Natalie Wood than AH. She does have the same eyes though.

I agree with your wife; Audrey Hepburn was beautiful...and a suitable goal for other girls.

"Hot" would be the wrong word to describe her

For me, Audrey Hepburn turned what might have been an otherwise barely passable movie--Breakfast at Tiffany's--into one I enjoy watching.

More of a modern incarnation of Natalie Wood, I'd say. Not sure who would be the modern incarnation of Marilyn Monroe...on that note, see Some Like it Hot...good God...

...and Ingrid Bergman in whatever...Casablance would work...

OTOH, I'd say Ashley Judd would most closely approximate Aud Hep of the modern actresses. I'd have to give it more thought...

you are the third to post the comparison of the two natalies.

natalie wood was a little shorter but had a similar image to natalie portman.

no way natalie portman portrays the grace and elegance that AH did.

ashley judd is just a bit too athletic to be AH, ashley judd comes across a little tomboyish.

for me, there is not current female that captures elegance and grace the way AH did.

That she does not

Agreed.

But IMHO and just OTOH, Ashley Judd is the closest...I'd have to do some research to find someone closer

[Edit] Keira Knightley, perhaps...probably not...hold on

I don't know if I'd consider Audrey Hepburn hot. Cute and classy, definitely. My daughter is actually named after Hepburn's character in Charade. The first person to know what that name is without looking gets a :cookie:. :p

As for gorgeous women of yesteryear, Ingrid Bergman is my top pick. I have a framed print of her in my living room. Yummy. :D

Oh yes, and  for Grace Kelly. You'll never see a more breathtaking entrance in a movie than her entrance in Rear Window.
Watch her and Cary Grant in To Catch a Thief. Kelly makes me drool. And if I was a chick, I'd be all over Cary Grant.

I definetely think she was hot. But believe that I would have found her much hotter if she would have lived in modern times. Imagine her personality and todays fashion. Of course, she wouldn't have such a likeable personality if she lived in todays times.
