Do you fellow Canadians realize that it's perfectly legal to buy/sell sexual services in Canada?

I'm serious. Seems like 99% of the people aren't aware of this. But it is perfectly legal.

Kitchener City Gives Up Plan to License Escorts

The only thing that is illegal is keeping it at a location such as a brothel or massage parlor. Probably more has to do with the devaluation of property value than anything really.
But it's not like they enforce it, we all know what 'erotic massage' parlors really are.

Yeah I learned this in high school law class=) It's not legal to prostitute on the street but escort services are perfectly legal in the privacy of your own home.

My understanding was that it is legal to sell sexual services, but illegal to buy them.
(to which the effect is that protitutes are legal, but the man buying gets charged if he goes after an undercover cop instead...)

I was under the impression that prostitution is legal at least in Toronto. I hear at the strip clubs there you can buy certain...extras to your lap dance for a nominal fee. Legally.
