I know this, because I recently have been nearly blacking out after violent coughing episodes. (I have Emphysema) I asked my doctor and he said it was because when I cough that much, I end up with more Carbon Monoxide than Oxygen in my bloodstream.

No I don't smoke. Can't stand it but I don't mind the smell of smoking nearby - it's that nasty stale stuff that gets in fabric that gets me.

Yes I figured it was a mild effect from the insight of partial asphyxiation and that sounds serious but I guess it isn't as long as you can inhale. (in the case of the bagpipe player!)

Yes, I get dizzy when blowing up balloons. I also supposedly have asthma, though it rarely bothers me. I did pass out when my parents put trick candles on my 10th birthday cake. That was fun.
