Well gee, so am I... but I'm also a grown up who doesn't feel like forking cash over to Classmates.com to find high school friends.

I think taking a poll on this forum would be inaccurate as most, if not all the people here are tech savvy and as such, would be much more likely to have a facebook account than say, my parents.

Nope, there's no one I've met in the past that I ever want to hear from again, and I don't need any new friends. In fact, I hate people. I want to create a site for people that just want to be left the fuck alone. Sort of a do not call registry. Maybe I could call the site, if-i-met-you-i-would-stab-you-in-the-face.com

I had one but took it down because I did't want recruiters or my employer using it against me, and any employer-ready facebook page is going to be pretty dorky.

Even big-name companies are using these sites during the hiring process and to find potential applicants. In fact, I lived with someone who did recruiting for the biggest internet company in the world, and he routinely used Facebook and MySpace to scout for kids graduating from college soon.

So be careful what you put out there, people. On the other hand, you could view it as an opportunity to put yourself out there in a positive light, too.

Good Point, but the privacy is good enough, that with careful planning facebook can do now harm. Unless your are like the idiot in the UK that was "friends" with his boss and got fired after taking a "family emergency" holiday to recover from a hangover. The boss found the pictures from the night before on facebook and emailed to him with the acknowledgement of the day off. As long as you don't do that, you should be alright.
