Do you excercise regularly, or are you like most americans?

30% of americans excercise regularly

<< It defined regular physical activity as light-to-moderate exercise at least five times a week for at least a half-hour, or vigorous activity at least three times a week for a minimum of 20 minutes. >>

I'd consider that a very very minimal amount of excercise, but how much do you get?

<< I'm at the gym everyday (M-F) at 0515. Exercise 60-90 minutes. >>

How long have you been doing that for? You're the swimmer, aren't you...

On average 2.5 hours 5/7 days. That's just lifting/conditioning in the off-season. During the football season practice/games are 3-4 hours 6/7 days.

The program I'm currently doing -- since November. No I don't swim in my program although it is one of the options. I run for 20 minutes on the mill, lift weights ( primarily upper body) do crunches and push-ups on those big inflatable balls and then walk on the mill for 15 minutes M-W-F. On Tu and Th I do a "spin routine" for 45 mins to an hour on the stationary bike. As the weather gets nicer I will move my running outside and when the base pool opens I will substitute some swimming for cycling.

Good to see i'm the norm in not excersizing (unless walking to the car counts ;))

Allthough with summer approaching i'm going to start working out before I go on a cruise in August.

During the winter, I don't do much. Right now, I workout for about 1/2 to 1 hour/day before work. I do much more on the weekend when my friends come over.

Haven't done a damn thing all winter, but once the weather gets better and my exams are over, I plan to go 5/7 days for about 1.5 hrs

I walk to work every day, and take a long walk in the evening; make a point of climbing stairs; use the elliptical trainer or exerbike at least 3x week; play recreational sports; lift light weights; and do yoga.
