Do you ever wish you could reply without bumping the thread

For you repost nazi's and anyone else that wants to let the OP know he is an a$$hat without sending the thread all the way to the top? Leaving us the ability to argue and let things die. OK, ok so i am really tired and unable to sleep at 6 am and i have to work tomorrow so cut me some slack.

Oh and i am aware that the typical response is going to be, "yeah, but not until you posted this tripe."

Maybe a little...when I'm digging up long dead threads. But not enough for me to actually want the option.

That's why there is a PM feature here. If you want to flame the original poster or someone who responded, send them a PM. Don't load the PM with lots of flames at first - word it nicely to warrant a response. Once the dialog is established, you can then start the flame war.

Oh, this thread is so, soooooooooo useless.

I post in other online forums where its like this, and it annoys me to no end. I post something, then 12 other pepople post thier own threads, and then noone posts to my thread anymore.

I think that's a pretty bad idea.

if the thread isn't bumped, no one will read your reply... and why reply at all if no one is going to read it?
