Do you ever see yourself leaving AT?

I was thinking about that...Although I'm from 2002, I have a username from 01 somewhere that I don't remember...and over the past 6 years I have pretty much posted here without fail on a consistent basis. Heck, I don't even really care too much about computer hardware so as long as I can play WC3 ;) One of the big draws is the fact that I think I've learned so much about a lot of random (albiet useful!!!) crap that I would have never picked up anywhere else. It is a good place to come for advice (although any thread involving women is apparantly useless without pics ;))

Even when I get out of college and work or go to grad school, maybe get married, maybe have kids, be famous ;) , and bla bla bla I don't plan on leaving the forums at all. Although most don't know me here (mainly cause I post in OS and P&N....although I lurk here just as much) I know MANY figures here that stick out like a sore thumb. And if any of them (too many to list...) leave, I would see it as a loss to the community.

I think though as time moves on I can't post with as great frequency. Always being around a PC due to having to study and constantly checking notes, AT is an easy quick fix. Or being at work with not much to do...AT is the natural answer - and its held true for the past six years through highschool and now as I come to end on my forth year and hopefully finish up my fifth year. But if I'm always out...unless I get some cellphone or PDA that has a screen big enough to surf AT comfortably... I maybe out of luck in terms of being able to visit

With that said, I think I'll be here at least until someone detonates an EMP next to the AT servers... wherever they maybe :D Anyone else pretty much stuck here till they day they die?

although there is one draw back to posting so much on AT and reading ATOT a lot...my sarcasm is so thick no one can notice it! Sometimes I try to be as explicitly sarcastic as possible, yet people still don't get it and I wonder how much more clear I have to be!

I would probably post less after I died or married and had kids, which ever comes first.

I see myself posting a lot less in a little later in life, but I'll still check in - I've made some good friends and contacts here and people worth keeping in touch with.

I joined in 2000 and posted a lot at first, but now I very seldom check in. This forum does have incredible traffic. It was my first, so I'll probably always check it out sporadically at least.

I leave and return regularly... It can be entertaining from time to time. Once that stops being the case, I'll stop coming back. I've been here for what... almost seven years now? Long enough to know better. ;)

I go through periods of not posting as much and posting more but whenever I need to kill time (or hardware/software recommendations) there will always be ATOT

Not permanently...AT has a good community and I've learned a good deal of stuff since I've been here. It's like Ask Jeeves, but for geeks :D
