Have you every bought something in a store, only to find it significantly cheaper online, then order it onlione and return the item you purchased in the store?

Thats the extent I would do unless it was free shipping + major discount.

I'm a big fan of instant gratification most times, and will pay more (a little) NOW then waiting a week for it to arrive.

I really only buy things in the store when I want them NOW. I'm already resigned to the fact that it's going to cost more.

Just bought Band of Brothers @ buy.com with Google Checkout for $38 and will be returning the same that I bought from Borders for $68.

Nope. If it's something that's expensive enough that there could be a substantial price difference, then it's probably something that I would have spent time researching (both the product and its typical price). So that situation never really comes up. Only time I buy something expensive impulsively in a store is when I KNOW I'm getting a really good deal. Except, ironically, my wife's car. We went in looking for a 2003 TL (which I had researched extensively and knew exactly how much to pay), and walked out with a 2005 TSX. I didn't know anything about their value, but according to Edmunds I got a good deal.
