Do you ever go to the movies by yourself?

No but i'm thinking about it because I wanna see the Matrix 2 like right now and no one's around to go with.
 
i go alone alot.

no prob finding a seat
no annoying peopel speaking to you during the movie
and you can see whatever you want
 
Its alright if you are going to watch Matrix 2 at the earliest time possible.

I say go for it.

You may not be alone...if you have an imaginary friend. I mean a matrix dup of you. 🙂

I always go by myself. I go at the weekend matinees. I'm used to it now.

The only problem is if the theater was too crowded and I have to sit right next to other people. Once I went to see Shrek and the theater was so crowded I couldn't find any seats except for a few single ones. I was too afraid to sit there so I just left the theater and ate $5. I went back a week later and finally saw Shrek.

I don't think I could go by myself to a nightly showing since I assumed most people go with dates or friends on those and I would look too much like a loser.

Just did for Matrix. Didn't want to call up people and go at a crowded time. Just went in the early afternoon w/ no people.

Thinking about doing the same for X2.
 
Yes I do sometimes. I just went to see Matrix today again with friends. I enjoy both for different reasons. When you are alone you can see any movie at any time for any reason. Going with friends and family is fun if it's a really popular movie like Matrix, LOTR, or Star Wars. And I see all the romantic comedies with my wife because that is what she likes. But movies like Daredevil which nobody I knew wanted to see, I saw myself at the $1 theatre and it was fun.
 
No way.. I will not go to a movie by myself. Thats the great thing about movies.. someone is always up for a movie.
 
i never had, but i prolly would

but the onl theatre close to me involves going threw a city, and doing that alone at night may be kinda stupid, but i'd do it in the day no problem
 
I did for Bulletproof Monk...people I went with wanted to see one movie that I refused to watch/spend $8 to see, so I said fsck them and saw what I wanted to. 😀
 
lol no way. LOOOOSER 😀 if i wanna watch movies by myself i do so at home on the compooter. of course... i... cant... watch... the newest movies... 😛
 
If the people I'm going with can all agree on what to watch and when, we'd do that but it's like picking a movie at the video store that everybody wants to see that nobody's seen -- it just doesn't always happen. In those cases, I'll go alone. It's certainly something I'd recommend everyone try once, just to get over that initial "I'll feel weird" hesitation to see it's really no big deal.
 
I do all the time. I like to be at the theater 45 minutes early so I can get a middle-middle seat. My friends just whine because they don't care where they sit and just show up like 15 minutes before it starts. I like to sit alone as well because I get the two armrests to myself.
