You might. If it was FedEx, those bastards won't deliver or release until the promise date.

I don't understand the reasoning they use to leave it or try to re-deliver it. Fedex was supposed to deliver a package at my house today...it shouldn't require a sig...and they didn't leave it. Good thing i paid for 2nd day air. Now i gotta wait an extra day. Fvcking god dammit.

They've left packages at the door in the past.

Rarely.

FedEx and Airborne seem to be a lot better with that.

It's weird. I ordered some speakers from Newegg last fall. They were supposed to be delivered on Monday, but they got in early. Fedex didn't deliver it because they weren't "due." Then again, I've ordered things from a couple other companies that ship via Fedex saver and they got here a day early. :confused.

The package I picked up yesterday is the first Fedex package I've had to sign for. The others all were left on my doorstep.

A company that I buy from ships by FedEx Home Delivery if it costs less than UPS on a given product or day.

Now there is a shipper that I absolutely fvcking hate with the fire of a thousand suns.

It's at the discretion of the driver...

They always leave packages here, unless signature is required, since we live down a long driveway..

I figured that. Apparently they don't send the same drivers out on the same routes. Fedex has ALWAYS left the package. fvck i'm pissed.

Agreed.

Fedex usually delivers my package a day before the trackin says I'm suppose to recieve it, and sometimes they deliver my packages on Saturday (at no extra charge) to clear their warehouse....that's happened 2 or 3 times now, not around any holiday, btw.

Airborne just delivered my Amazon.com shipment (with Free Shipping) about a week sooner then I was suppose to recieve it :Q Though it was ship via Airborne and delivered via USPS

UPS never gets any of my packages to me early, which is find, I understand that.

Nope.
Now, I've gotten several Fedex shipment within 12 hours of the tracking # finally working.
You know, invalid #, then ti works, you see it's been on its way for a day and a half, then come home and it's there.
UPS is OK...but Fedex beats them eveyr time IME.

I get things earlier all the time with UPS, sometimes next day with regular ground. Only once FedEx retained a package until the due date.
