Do you ever get the feeling that you have too many games?

I remember the good old days when publishers gave you enough time to finish a game before another great one came out.

The game industry has grown so large, and so fast recently that it's nearly impossible to play and finish every cool game. Do you ever feel more like a game collector then a gamer? I do. I have at least 40 PC games and have only finished 2 this year! With HL2, WoW, CoD and Halo2 on the horizon, I may never see the ending of Doom3, Rome TW, Ground Control 2, Sacred, NFS Underground, Dawn of War, Painkiller, Farcry, Morrowind, Riddick, PSI-ops and many others. :(

You know... I think games are 90% responsible for the misery in my life... they rob me of sleep, social activities, even work ethic. Someone should come and take all my games away.

Yeah, I have way too many games. Before I got a job, I had time. Now that I work full time, there's just not enough time for them all. It's almost sad now, I get near to the end of a game, and I start a new one and never finish the first.

nope. I usually have 4-5 months between games, waiting for publishers to release a game worth buying.

One of these days the videogame market will literally crash. Millions will realize what a waste of money it is to buy games like Madden 20X6 every year.

I've started saying to myself huh..this new game plays just like my old one..and the old one is better!

No I don't have enough. My old ones are sold or given to my brothers.

Right now all I own are Rise of Nations and Steam.

I have a bunch of GC games, probably over 20. Some of them are still in plastic wrap, and i haven't touched my GC in months.

I just bought my first video game console today - a new, slim PS2. I tried to find a copy of GTA: San Andreas, but it was out of stock everywhere.

oh yeah I definitely have too many. I currently have 81 PC games, 14 Xbox, 7 PS2, 6 GC, and 8 GBA. I've been getting better at selling console games that I've finished or gotten bored of.

Definitely. I get all the big FPSes, and I love FPSes, but when I only have time to play one game, I usually pick Madden or NBA Live or MVP, and the great action games are just sitting on my HD/CD case.

Finished this summer: Far Cry, UT2004
Haven't even started: Doom 3, Painkiller, Theif 3, etc., etc., etc...

I don't feel it, I know it. I have games for the PC, Xbox, and Gamecube that are still unopened. I used to buy a game if I found it at a good price, now I am able to pass on games because I have realized that I would never play them.

Yep, I have so many unfinished games that usually when trying to decide which to play I get overwhelmed and end up not playing anything.
