Do you ever forget about certain states?

There are some states that it seems like nothing happens in them, or at least if something does I never hear about it. I often forget the following even exist:

Delaware
Nebraska (unless it's college football season)
Iowa (I remember Idaho, just not Iowa)
New Mexico

Ironically, I probably live in a state that people tend to forget about.

Rhode Island. It is so small it is easy to overlook. And I keep forgetting about California hoping to wake up one day to hear they succeeded from the Union.

Reading through this I realized I'd forgotten about Wyoming and Arkansas. I also routinely think to myself "Now is Minnesota a state or a city in whatever that northern state is called? The one with St. Paul... No, it's a state."
