Do you ever buy live seafood?

I'm often in Chinese markets and they usually have a live seafood section. Fish, lobster, crab, shellfish etc... I'm not a seafood guy but it just occured to me that you don't often see that much live seafood in western markets.

It's common to buy live lobster at the grocery store up here in New England. That's usually it.

I live by some seafood probably. The ocean is only a few miles away, and I believe the fish are edible.

Never though.

No, but I'll occasionally BUY live lobster. We don't eat clams or oysters here, but you ALWAYS buy those live if they're in the shells. Once they die and the shell opens...they go bad very quickly.

Pretty much only have frozen seafood here unless we go to expensive restaurant that flies in fresh shuff, or getting live lobster from a tank...

We can get fresh "lake food" by fishing though ...if that counts...
