Do you "even out/round off" the amount of gas you pump, when using a credit/debit card?

LOL. My mom does it. I just tell her to fill it all the way up, but she says it might overflow or something, so she rounds off the price.

i just usually do $20 each fillup.

gives me give or take 1/2 my tank from the "gas light"
No need to carry extra gas, when you can just fill up the 2nd time.
Extra weight = no no 😛

I'll pose the question again.

Are you retarded?

The gas most likely won't get any cheaper. What a waste of time and resources.

i'm highly skilled at the art of rounding off. i can usually hit 20.00 on the mark without stopping short and doing tiny little mini-squeezes.

Umm ya? Are you retarded for asking...I feel I must explain one of the many situations where someone would round the number, so here goes:

Dad: Fill up the 20 $ for me on your visa and Ill pay you later.
Me: Ok

A day or two pass

Dad: Here's 20$ for the gas you put in.
Me: K

I do round it off to nearest non-penny amount (like $23.30 or $23.35 rather than $23.32) and really have no good reason for doing that other than habit.

I do it...I've always done it; I think it's because I remembered my parents do it when I was a kid...who knows...just seems weird to leave the pump with a $25.72 for the bill...I'll go $25.75.

He will get better gas milage because of the lost weight. Furthermore he didnt say anything about waiting for gas prices to drop, he was talking about weight.

Moron.

I read in my car manual that you are not supposed to "round off" your gas tank

Somethin about the right mixture of gas and air for the engine

anyway, I don't
