Do you drive stick or auto?

Which do you prefer usually?

I'll tell you what I'm driving... I'm driving this thread over to the forum where it belongs. What do I prefer? I prefer people post in the correct forum.

I drive auto, but one of these days I should probably at least learn stick to at least have the knowledge. It's not like it's really hard.

I drive stick. I love it!

It's handy to know if you drive a tiny car like mine. Even a little Honda CRX is a blast to drive with a manual transmission. The automatic ones are frustrating because they're geared for maximum gas mileage when they already have a weak engine.

I own vehicles with both transmission types.

For MOST driving, I prefer an automatic.(especially in traffic) For "spirited driving," I prefer a manual transmission.

I have an automatic car. I wouldn't mind a manual transmission. There are times when I wish I had one. Automatic has a lot of conveniences to it though.

Oh and just because someone doesn't drive a manual transmission doesn't mean they're not a good driver. I drive an automatic because I'm not on the fucking track with a performance car. Even then, I'd rather have a paddle-shifter car because they're quicker.

I paid extra for a stick, but I sometimes regret it. The braindead masses inability to maintain a constant speed makes having a stick a chore. I like the extra control though.

Manual fo sho. Auto is so fucking boring in comparison. I cringe when I see fast cars with auto or paddle shifting. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
