Only at big team meetings when they have a bar available or if there is an event.

We used to have the occasional long lunch, and I'd have a beer/glass of tequila then, but I wouldn't get ripped or anything. That was maybe 4 or 5 times per year.

Lots and lots of water and sometimes milk. I couldn't imagine not staying hydrated while on the job. :|

Alcohol? Nope. When I worked on the water, I was a hard-ass about it. If you wanted to work on my barge, you had better not show up hung-over either.
Booze and drugs have no place on a construction site.

a shit ton!

When I come in in the morning I have a 44 oz Diet Pepsi from the gas station. Its usually about half gone and I polish that off by my first break. At break I grab a cup of hot water and make a Starbucks Via. Sometimes I'll grab another before lunch but that's usually only if I'm cold.

At lunch I grab another 44 oz pop from the gas station and a zero carb Rockstar. After those are gone I'm ready to start refilling my pop cup with ice water until I get out of work.

I drink water and plenty of diet pepsi. Alcohol if and only if sanctioned by management, which happened quite a bit in the last couple of weeks leading up to xmas.

Hell no. I can't even drink not on the job cause I'm on call 24/7. We have randoms, hit the lotto twice last month.

I took one vicodin that I'm not prescribed for one night cause my back was hurting. Next day on the way home, a chick plows into the back of my company truck. Meant mandatory drug test at the scene. Luckily my boss is cool and I told him what was up, made some calls and got out of it.

But never doing that shit again without a prescription, not worth my job.

When I used to work for MTV there were always beers in the fridge and xbox's on all the tvs. We would play halo on breaks or after long periods of stress...when I worked overnights editing the shit got outta hand hunter S thomson style....thankfully I have outgrown those days lol

Yeah, it's the only way I can deal with the kids on my school bus. I don't know how I could deal with those little shits without at least a slight buzz :|
