If you enjoy drinking milk what are the reasons?

If you don't like to drink milk what are your reasons?

Rogo

At $5 per gallon, Carlo Rossi, Franzia, or Almaden wine is almost cheaper. But I do drink it plain or in cereal.

skim milk for me, half a gallon a day unless I need to ration or simply can't get as much as I'd want...

but being a true milk lover I'd take 1% or 2%, no discrimination from me, it was merely decided that there isn't much reason to go with the fat if I can enjoy it without - especially with how much I drink it

I'm not an infant so I don't drink milk. Nor do I drink sugar water to be pacified. Nor do I wear diapers.

I used not to drink for years, primarily for cow growth hormone and some other stuff found on the wiki article. Being a typical asian male, my body is not so lactose tolerant - I remember getting frequent big-D's back in high school when I drank that stuff religeously.

Recently though, I realized I still consume plenty dairy products in the form of cheese. Looking for ways to further minimize grocery bills, skim milk replaced soy milks I had been used to for years.

It is my understanding that soy milk is overall a better product in terms of nutrition, and personally I much prefer its taste as well; milk has a distinct smell that I dont particularly care for. Then again, I am very forgiving when it comes to choosing what to eat, as long as its relatively healthy, cheap and easy to cook/handle. Soy milk is just too damn expensive as it only caters a niche market. If they were priced similar then soy milk for me for sure. I dirnk milk just because it is believed to be nutritious and is cheap.

I have always loved milk. I can drink it with any food. It is perfect.

And I say that based on personal preference, not any kind of medical evidence. I really don't care if it is healthy or not.

My body is getting more and more lactose intolerant by the week. I can't even eat a small cup of ice cream anymore without my belly going sour and have gastro-intestinal fireworks 30 minutes later. It's even worse if I have a big glass of milk.

I'm *trying* to drink soy juice...err milk...but it just isn't the same as my chocolately smooth moo cow fsck milk. 🙁

I drink Nonfat.

Berkeley Farms milk is THE BEST. Beats Costco's and Safeway's Lucerne. Horizon comes close but it's $1 more than Berkeley Farms and if both offer hormone free milk, I'll stick with the cheaper one.

I drink at least 1/4 to 1/2 gallon a day. I drink it with everything, but then again im not much for soda etc

I drink it like water too. It's amazing. My mom used to go WTF when I would finish 2 gallons in a week. Somehow college changed everything. I eat it with my cereal, but I can't finish a gallon a week. I guess it has to deal with rationing and not wanting to visit the supermarket so often. So instead I save it for cereal only. When I notice I'm nearing expiration and still have too much then I start drinking cups of it. With that said I sitll love milk and I would drink it like water. Sure beats the Brita filter I have, but hey... water is like semiunlimited =P
