Two cups of coffee (piccolo latte and ristretto) in the morning for me. Sometimes I indulge myself in an afternoon cup of coffee. I try not to drink more than that in a day.

I've never had even a sip of coffee and I get through my days just fine.

Wussy, I drink coffee all day every day. It's the only thing keeping my heart beating.

guilty as charged. coffee is a bad drug, i wind up in this loop of being tired at work, drinking coffee/coke/redbull to get an energy boost, then when i get home and the muscles relax, i can't sleep anymore, stay awake until 5am playing quake, wake up at 8am and go to work, get tired immediately so i drink more coffee, then before work is over i need more coffee because i have the comedown syndrome, go home even more wired, sleep even less, cycle keeps repeating, shrinking every time, until my "nights" consist of five cups of coffee and a shower.

like tonight.

after i quit smoking...i end up stopping and grabbing an energy drink every single morning on the way to work. before that, no caffeine.

oh well, $1.50 a day is better than $5.50 and being sick.

Black coffee. Be a man.

i recently started moving away from coffee with milk and sugar to straight black coffee. it's bitter and takes some getting used to, but it perks you right up. i'll mix honey with it now to avoid the sugar.

take a multivitamin. GNC Energy & Metabolism. contains caffeine.

I don't drink coffee often because it makes me pee about every 30 minutes.

I drink coffee everyday, work or not. I go to bed at night mildly enthused for my next day's coffee. That, and hate keep me alive :^D

Gotta be at work at 6:30 so its 3 cups of black coffee to get me going. I don't drink any on the weekends and don't drink sodas.

People still play that game?

No coffee for me...though I'll grab an occasional vitamin water with taurine if I really need a boost. I love coffee, but caffeine gives me anxiety.

There is nothing wrong with coffee; it can actually be good for you. Google it.

What is wrong is Dunkin Donuts style coffee (ie. 1/4 cup of sugar) and flavored/mixed speciality coffees or coffee with whipped toppings. Drink a bunch of those a day and you will probably have health problems.

I've been drinking 6 cups a day since I've been 18, and have zero health problems (41 years old). In my college years I drank practically twice that. But, I barely use any sugar, maybe a 1/4 of a teaspoon (don't like sweet).

"Your eyes are full of hate, forty-one. That's good. Hate keeps a man alive. It gives him strength." That and coffee of course.

Yea, but I don't drink coffee often. It's usually in the form of an energy drink or energy drink mixes.

I don't need it either. I've went days without my caffeine fix, and I functioned fine.

Congrats!!!

Did you quit cold turkey, nicotine gum, hypnosis, etc.?

Woke up one morning, felt like I got run over by a train for the final time.

Took the day off work, threw out all my ash trays, lighters, scrubbed my car and apartment clean of the scent the best I could, and haven't looked back. The first two days were okay, the next eight or nine were hell, and then after that...well the smell of a cigarette makes me sick.

I'll deal with an occasional craving and addiction to caffeine over the misery I was putting my body through any day of the week,

That's amazing, I have several co-workers and friends who have tried and failed every single time. One paid $$$ for hypnosis which worked.

Thanks, a lot of the people around me (family, coworkers, friends) were very surprised and envious, and that made it easier - wanting to prove them wrong. Picking up running again helped a lot too, I think.

I drink plenty of coffee, with a little honey and just a tiny bit of milk.

I wouldn't think of drinking coke - that stuff's horrible for you in every way
Orly? I've been drinking it for decades and am in pretty damn good health.
