Do you dread your birthday every year?

So, it's my birthday today, and already 3 people have told me that they're sorry. Yeah, they're joking, but there's also some truth behind it. I know a lot of people that dread their birthdays every year. Personally, I don't really care. It's just another day to me.

So let me know if you dread your birthday every year, and make sure to say how old you are, especially if you're not even of drinking age yet!

(oh, and I'm 26 just for reference)

I am 21, and right now I do not dread my birthday.

Why would you dread your birthday? 26 is young.

My B-Day is Sep 5th. and I'm glad. Because then I'll be 18, and can get a job with my friend.

I know I'm still young! If we get some older people in here, I think you'll start to hear a different tune.

Why all you all worrying about your birthday when your only in your 20's??? Im 38, and not concerned at all about getting older. Of course that could be senility on my part.

I'm 26 as well... gonna be 27 this year. I dont dread it, nothing wrong with aging... it's just what you do with the time you're here.

I'm quite looking forward to my birthday (a month and a bit to go), turning 18 in the UK = pretty much everything can be done, voting, drinking, credit card, and the stuff I could do before. :)

Turned 34 on Tuesday.
No dread just a normal work day then a nice dinner, presents from my son and wife, then early to bed for seriously hot action with the Mrs. :D

:cookie: for me!!

Indeed. You always get to do things on your birthday you don't get to do at other times. Like not make the bed in the morning. YEAH!! SCORE!!!

My birthday was two days ago. I was having a good time when two of my sisters called to wish me well. They both started going on about their personal health. The conversations basically ended with the warning that all the genetic disorders passed down from our parents were showing up in their lives, and they will get me when I am older. Talk about dreading your birthday.

I turn 22 in a few weeks... I could care less. Of course, it does make you looka round and think back to what you thought you would be at that age... I guess I am living up to what I thought.

Theres always some World WarIII's on my birthday. There's some huge fvcking family fight, and I end up saying why was I born etc etc. So quite honestly, I not only dread birthdays, I fear them.

Turned 21 earlier in the year. I very much wanted to just crawl back into bed & forget about it.

I started dreading bdays when I hit 20...I started caring less about presents. I just hate that even though I'm making more money and things are sort of going my way, I think I could go back and do it better if I had another chance.....depressing thoughts.
