Yep, pretty regularly. It usually happens when I'm trying to figure out how to phrase something and just give up or if I realize that I'm just parroting what someone else already said.

Rather, there are other fellow travellers in this etherian band of brothers who follow my beloved ingrained habit! Aghast I stand, gazing down at my key-containing digital device and pondering the many unposted and unappreciated, nay, unborn pregnancies of thought that now never will grace the monitorial screens of the ATOT world. Perhaps . . . perhaps . . . a slightly less wordy response would be more appropriate? I know it will disappoint my fellow intellectual seekers to miss my lofty phrasing, but alas, I shall bite the ASCII bullet and diminish my postage accordingly.

I was tempted to post a parody thread when someone posted a topic they even said should have been posted in P&N in the title. But I figured the mods might think I was singling someone out and give me a vacation because, well, I would have been. So I didn't post it.

Good god, somebody actually read that? ATOT is full of surprises. It was a joke, silly. You can tell I'm not all that smart.
 
I do this all the time. It usually happens when I realize that I am about to post something in either a political or religious thread.

Then I regain my senses.
 
I don't think before I act. Sometimes this backfires on me, like the time I encountered a dinosaur, and decided to hit it. This is why I now type with my toes.
