Do you do Tech Support? Well... You may be suffering from...

Hmm.. I have another problem. Suddenly after years of tech work, it's making me want to work at a 7-11 and sell slurpees. Not sure why.

That tech support guy seems pretty laid back. Give me a call and you'll know the TRUE meaning of tech support

I was never one to cuss the customer with them on mute, but I did work with several people that did that. Shocked me at first, but it's hilarious.

And while that stupid tech support person is wasting his time with that idiot, the caller with the legitimate problem calls up and waits for 1 hour on the line, listening to elevator music. Finally the caller with the real problem hangs up and tries to solve it himself. He says to himself: Tech support sucks!

Mistake: The tech should have hanged up when he was asked to hold!!!

<From the user's point of view>

AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!! So true! So true!
I find myself doing that all the time when I talk to people. Not cause I'm truely upset, but because it helps to blow off steam from idiot callers before I get upset.

I do tech support, but I like to give out false information for fun.

I do that only to my "friends" that only call me when they need computer help; and don't call for any other reason. I have to agree though that cursing on mute does help blow off some steam.
