Do you do fresh installs of iOS or is it a waste of time?

I just make sure I have a backup and just update each time. Not a problem for me.

How are you backing up? iTunes backs up a lot less now than they did a couple of years ago. Unless you use iCloud then your your apps, images, etc. isn't getting backed up. Are you using a third part solution, iCloud?

My iCloud stuff is default but I do a backup of my purchases and whatever iTunes can backup as well. I don’t really worry about it. My phone has nothing on it that I would be sad to lose.

I like to keep things like voicemails, text messages, etc., and then there is the wife's music and photos, all of which are no longer backed up by iTunes.

Fresh installs (DFU restore) always. I sign into iCloud for contacts, calendars, and notes, but the rest is all fresh/untouched.
