I told someone today that I read something on this board, and it was weird because I realized that I spend some time on here nearly everyday, but I RARELY talk about or think about it outside of the actual board. It was strange to actually say the word 'Anandtech' because I read it but never say it! Anyway, I haven't been drinking, really, but would like to know if anyone takes their Anandtech experience everywhere they go...

First rule of Anandtech is you do not talk about ATOT.
Second rule is yeah sometimes if someone posted really funny or read some hardware or Os fact and I tell buddy.
 
Saying that I am addicted to Anandtech in public is about equal to whipping out Magic cards and playing in public...not gonna happen very often.
 
Yes, me and Teliasen are friends, i introduced him to this board and we discuss it quite a lot when we are out partying (aka, roadtrips to circuit city)
 
Well, I was at this party once and started talking about this internet forum I hang out at and how all the guys were discussing the best way to shave their private parts... the silence was deafening 😀

And no, I don't talk about ATOT. I'll mention AT if someone needs some kind of computer advice, but I don't mention ATOT to anyone.
 
I always say "I read ........ on this forum." But I never refer to AT by name for fear my friends will come here then be as cool as I am. It gives me an edge!

A co-worker noticed I go here alot, and has heard me talk about "seeing it on some forum." Well the other day, after insulting his sexual orientation he threatened to sabotage my AT connections. I immediately apologized and STFU after realizing my most primal fear......

having ATOT taken away from me🙁
