6 is true....

The USSR signed a non-aggression pact with the Nazis thus making them a "friend of my enemy" aka enemy by proximity. That's a question for the stupid only.

Uh... USSR signed a NAP with Germany which was broken in 41, and
The informal Big 3 alliance of the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, and the United States emerged in the latter half of the war, and their decisions determined Allied strategy around the world.

The US and USSR were allied eventually, so clearly they are more friend than enemy.
The US also supplied the USSR with a lot of stuff via the lend-lease program. You don't supply your enemies.

For the most part they were allies, or had nothing to do with each other. At no point were they enemies.

I'm aware of the lend-lease program but didn't realize the NAP ended June 21, 1941 ... I thought it lasted a little while longer.

Exactly. Also, the pact was pretty much done and over with when Germany attacked the USSR in June of '41.

The US wasn't officially participating in the war until 6 months later.

I don't know why they threw religion questions in there. I don't recall ever seeing any of those on my tests in high school.

That was my stupid mistake when I compared dates. I mistakenly thought the pact extended 'till late '41 or early '42.

Yeah, I think Operation Barbarossa put an end to any kind of non-agression pact.

"According to Catholicism, does the Immaculate Conception refer to the conception of Jesus or Mary?"

I stopped after that.

Yeah I was like WTF? Don't remember that in public school......but got a 74%. Thanks to public school. :p
Most of us went to a public school and we all aced this test. What's so difficult about understanding "immaculate conception"? Even if you didn't understand the meaning behind it, I can't see how the answer would be a man.

Heh, you still got it wrong.

The immaculate conception, as understood by the Catholic church, was the conception of Mary in HER mother's womb. Immaculate because Mary, according to Catholic doctrine, is sinless.

These were the two questions I got wrong (for 91%). I went back to change the answers (subsequently getting 100%), so these are the right answers:

9. According to Catholicism, does the Immaculate Conception refer to the conception of Jesus or Mary?
Correct answer: Mary. (I really don't get this one, as I'm not Catholic.)

11. Columbus's ships arrived in North America in 1492.
Correct answer: False (He arrived in Cuba, which is in Central America).

Yup. Cubism I only know because It ook a photography class.

I screwed up on #9 an d#11 like most people. I'm not Christian so I had to guess for that 1 question. Everything I knew in full certainty. The Columbus question was a trick question. I knew he didn't arrive in the STATES in 1492, but bleh, I understood the question as discovering the Americas...

You paid attention during 91% of high school!

85-100% You must be an autodidact, because American high schools don't get scores that high! Good show, old chap!
