Do you consider yourself racist?

Are you racist?

If Will Smith and pre-2005 Eminem were next to each other and I might be inclined to go with Will Smith.

If a person is jumping around, dancing and yelling and their lips are sticking out two feet from their face every time they say something and this happens if something slightly offensive might have been said. I'm sorry but I need to classify you for my own safety.

On the other hand it is known that all Indian/Pakistani people like to jump into a store right before it closes with their entire family of two year olds, make a giant mess, not buy anything and leave.

Are you racist if you are racist towards every race or is that race realist?

I'm not sure what point this was trying to make.

Your poll is missing my categorization: I am not racist, but I am viewed as a racist because I do not approve of racists being racists.

Even every now and then? I think we may just be using different terms for the same thing.

Methinks it needs to be defined first.

For the purposed of ATPN I would say usually assuming the worst about a person of a certain race and willing to offer excuses to absolve another race qualifies

I used to be racist. I had a girlfriend who worked as a mutual clerk every summer and I took her to the track. I played the horses and usually came out ahead because I wasn't greedy and had good tips. So I guess I was a racist.

I am 50/50 on this.

As in old school racism? No I am not. And no not here for you to test me via the old school replies like. How as a white guy can I be racist? My best friend is black! Go watch that Phil Donahue video where various people were chosen some not sure and some said no and some were very militant against being a racist and the psychology of the day was the mere fact you are white means you are racist and that auto-joins/relates you to the now known white establishment that you just benefit overall just because you are white.

The above example is pure bullshit. As a white guy I can say that I have suffered everything a black guy has suffered from by and from other whites.

So to say you have harder just because of a skin color is bullshit.
Blame the corporations who hire illegals instead of your unemployed teen.

Unemployed teen- Unable to find work I may as well steal for a living.

Do what the blue collar people did! When the contractor hired illegals to build homes then tons of american unemployed carpenters went to the job site and prevented the illegals from entering.

Verbally protesting does nothing. Running at police to punch them out does nothing but kill you.

IMO it is simply understanding that there ARE differences between the different races and their cultures. I think some would say that seeing any differences at all makes you racist.

If that is what you define as "race realist", than I would say that yes, that is where I would place myself. Statistically, we are different as races. Biologically, it has been proven time and time again. Or do we need to do some more "family friendly" racism such as all the asian's kicking our ass in school?

I'll make it simple for all you race-baiting retards:

If you see a person and statistics about that person's race influence your opinion about them in any way without first getting to know that person, you are a racist. Call yourself a race-realist if it helps your conscience.

Statistics are hard to refute.

I'm ok with being called a racist. And yes, the behavior of the group influences my opinion about them in some degree when I first meet them. Everybody does that every day about everything. You will treat a hot girl differently than some morbidly obese chick. That behavior is hard wired into everybody's brain. It's typically called intuitions and intuitions are based on patterns. If a negative pattern is constructed, is that the fault of the person who constructed the pattern, of based on the actions of those the patterns are built around?

In the case of a morbidly obese chick, you can assume she doesn't take care of herself, eats too much, is lazy, guess that her house is a mess, and has low self esteem. In how many cases is that true? Your brain creates that pattern.

There is nothing wrong with creating a pattern. Anybody who is honest with themselves does this. In fact, your brain does this at a subconscious level, and most people have to fight against it. All I know is if I drive through the inner city, I'm going to be more alert, and nervous compared to driving through a rural area. To call me a retard for being that way, fine, I'm ok with being a smart retard. 🙂

Statistics tell us nothing about an individual; statistics merely correlate information about a group.

It's also worth remembering that statistics do not necessarily tell us anything about causality. Very few things about people are simple; there are webs of many, many interconnected factors that cause human behavior and genetic makeup is arguably one of the least powerful.

Fantastic. Now tell us what we can assume about a black person just from his/her skin color.
