Fiscally, no. Socially, kind of middle of the road.

Edit: But, personally, I am conservative; however, I dont necessarily think whats best for me is best for the country.

No, I consider myself a right-wing paleocon.

Oddly enough, I identify with the Democratic party, but a Democrat where I am from would likely be considered an ultra-right-wing fanatic in California.

I cannot identify completely with fiscal conservatism, as I would just spend tax money on scientific endeavors, NASA and the military rather than tax cuts and/or social welfare after balancing the budget. But, I guess balancing the budget is a fiscally conservative goal.

Small L libertarian here, so probably not a moderate in the views of the statists on both right and left wings who can't resist wanting to control our lives in either the social or economic realms respectively.

Nope, I'm very opinionated one way or the other and a huge proponent of taking care of your own shit and accepting responsibility for your actions.

I'm liberal on social issues except abortion and illegal aliens. I'm conservative on economic issues. But I'm not a moderate libertarian. I'm a paleolibertarian. In other words, I'm not willing to accept the Chicago School, as an adherent of the Austrian School.

Moderate in what sense?

The way I would draw the line is Authoritarian or Libertarian. Government or people. This is obviously not Left VS Right, Democrat or Republican, but it CAN largely be considered Liberal VS Conservative even though there are those who cross the line.

Either way I find moderates to be Bush and McCain. Those who vote with Dems on issues to spend more money under the guise of "compassionate conservative". The sort who is pro big-government the way Bush was.

If to be a moderate is to be a Neocon then to hell with the likes of them. I will surely not compromise on the value of a free people.

I am no moderate.

No because I'm not.

Moderates are just scared to take a side.

Or we just have common sense.

Left: No one should have their lives ruined over an accident. Abortion for everyone!
Right: Abortion is murder and a sin. No abortion period!

Moderate: Abortion is not birth control. Early term abortion causes no pain to the fetus, and is therefore justified in cases of sexual assault and if the pregnancy poses a physical danger to the mother or fetus. Otherwise it's your mistake and you have to own up to it. You can give the kid to adoptive parents if you like, but you're bringing that baby into this world.

As for my own views, yes I consider myself a moderate, albeit right leaning. I'm for MJ legalization with restrictions similar to those placed on tobacco. I'm conservative on illegal immigration, foreign policy, and gun rights. I believe in a public option for healthcare, but not anything forced or universal and certainly not the pile of shit recently passed.

Philosophically I'm a huge proponent of personal responsibility, and disagree with passing sweeping laws that cater, positively or negatively, to an extreme minority. That's what local government is for.

I'm left leaning economically, and actually wouldn't mind reasonable tax increases to offset the deficit. Where does this attitude that "taxes can only go down" come from? I'm also for efficient regulation that doesn't get too much in the way of the free market. I'm also liberal on gay marriage. Just let them have the legal status already. Obviously the churches can do whatever they want.

According to a political spectrum test I recently took, I'm apparently a centrist with Libertarian leanings. Sounds about right.

This and true social liberal, not the authoritative mommy syndrome bullshit of today. Do what you want as long as it doesn't affect others. Pro-gun, pro-choice, anti-illegal aliens, pro-death penalty, etc.

I don't see the need to label myself as moderate or anything else. I go by issues individually.

No I don't vote. No one can do anything for America from what I've seen. Rather post here or fish than stand in live someplace for some snake oil sales man..
