Some months ago, I took it as my personal mission to see the thread through to 10k posts, but unfortunately it was locked not all too long after it surpassed the movie trivia thread in length.

Yep, I was actually a lifer before I started posting heavily in there. There wasn't much of a window, though
My lifer post was in one of Bryophyte's threads, I asked for pics of a turkey, IIRC :laugh:

I can count the "famous" members on one hand, though there are a lot of infamous members.

I do have a slightly different feeling about the members I recognize from 5 years ago than I do about the newbies, but I guess I don't see the relevance of whatever fame that comes with being a member of a bulletin board for years.
