It's so light that it gets kicked around too easily.

You sure do.

And I consider my case a shelf considering all the crap that's layered on top of it.

I just got this and THIS delivered. Once I get the rest of the mod supplies delivered and get it all built... no, I will not use it as furniture... the b/f would be beyond pissed if I did. He bought all this stuff.

:)

Sweet

Although, with all those fans, you might want to where some noise canceling headphones before you turn that on.

hahaha!! from the pic, it looks like there are three fans in the front, but there are not. It is one fan that can be re-positioned to any one of those three places, depending where you put the hard drives.

and i dont care about noise, it is the heat that was killing me. I have so much stuff in my ssystem. The case I have now... it is a really nice case and very well built with excellent features. But, it just was not built to hold what I have put in there, and ...hahaha.... well, i had to open the side of the case and have a fan blowing into it to keep the temps down.

It was time for a new case. I will really miss my old one, if I decide to sell it though.

I put my feet on the floor or on this "footrest" like thing on the bottom of my desk, so all my Subwoofer has to do is provide me nice bass, not a footrest. ;)

I've got the 3-way redundant computers that were used to control the original ill-fated baggage handling system at Denver International Airport. They're built into some cool-looking black towers that I use as end tables.

But I'd really like to have a Cray-1 couch. That would be the best.

Computers are tools. Cases only need to be good on airflow. They sit under the desk or in an entertainment center like the one I use as an HTPC at my lakehouse. They are not furniture. I might paint them if they needed to blend in but I am usually too lazy for that when it comes to a computer.
