Do you consider it rude if someone parks right in front of your mailbox/house?

Theres a spot that can only fit one car right in front of my house where my mailbox is. Once in a while someone parks right in front of it (like right now).

I know its public property but I always thought its courteous to avoid doing so unless theres no nearby space

Just me?

It would bother me if it's during the day.. Mail delivery person will not deliver the mail, if a car is in the way..

i remember parking far in front of someone's house becuase all the spots around my friend's house were taken. when i was leaving, the guy who lived there let the profanity fly.
generally i don't mind. my neighboring house has a huge family with six large cars. don't mind them parking in front of our house.

Yes it's rude, if you have space in your driveway or in front of your own house USE IT, if your only option is to park in front of someone else's house then oh well.
The kid (22yrs or so) next door to me parks in front of my house (room for 2 there), the only reason I don't tell him off is he is the only one who does anything around the house (mows lawn, cleans up beer cans of alchoholic parents etc...) he is just socially dysfunctional so I let it be.

Heh, no. If you're in a city, you take any space you can. Nothing is guaranteed.

Depends on the area and such.. at my grandmother's place it's just what everyone does; she's in an urban area with a high population density. Where I am it'd be weird at the very least.

yes. i call the cops if the car's not gone from there in less than 5 minutes becuz (a) it blocks my field of vision when I'm backing out of my driveway (b) my roomie's car is usually parked there (c) 'cuz the cops usually call the tow company right away

Don't EVAR park in front of my neighbor's house. She is a turbocharged bitch on wheels when it comes to HER parking spaces. :Q
