So, what's your point?
I guess I'm just jealous he has a couple properties and spends his summer at the cottage..working 1 day a week.
There aren't seven weeks in a month, just so you know.
What kept you or is keeping you from getting the same job?he will drive up to his Muskoka cottage and spend a few days..drive back to missisauga for 1 or 2 day 2 shift and drive back and spend a week at the cottage. Seems like he has the life.
Hard to math when you're all potted up on weed, man. There aren't seven weeks in a month, just so you know.

You realize that firefighters work 24 hours straight right? So that 7 days is 168 hours. Most people work 40 hours a week, which is 160 hours in 4 weeks.
Yeah sure he has the life. Until he dies in a fire. His work is very dangerous. Not everyone is a hero but this is a line of work that can lead to becoming one. Maybe Mayne; you should become a fire fighter. Get that awesome life you are seeking...until you die fighting a fire. Then you will be a hero.
Sure but its mostly sleeping eating and tellin lies except for the false alarms and cat calls.Maybe one fire a year , eh ?You realize that firefighters work 24 hours straight right? So that 7 days is 168 hours. Most people work 40 hours a week, which is 160 hours in 4 weeks.
You're sliding back into that same thread that got locked, twice.i'm totally not impressed by firefighters or cops or military. Seems like the easy way out if you have no intelligence.
I'm more impressed by the girls at my local Tim Hortons to be honest.

What's your point? They are still on the clock. The majority of posts made on this forum during the day are from people at work supposedly "doing work".Sure but its mostly sleeping eating and tellin lies except for the false alarms and cat calls.Maybe one fire a year , eh ?
Firefighters also ride the ambulances, at least in DC. My brother has to ride the Ambulance some nights and he doesn't look forward to it because it's pretty rough. As far as I know they only do it at night, never during the days.what impresses me is paramedics. They must of seen some shit on a daily basis. kudos to them.
Some are and some are not.
The term Hero has been over used and has lost a lot of its true meaning.
