Do you consider a win against an opponent in an untimed game of chess more impressive...

Apples and oranges to me. Turn-based vs. real-time are different skills, neither is inherently superior in my mind.

Okay, what if the winner was timed and the loser was not?

More impressive than if someone else beat the same opponent playing untimed?

I guess, but we don't know whether or not the other winner could have done the same. So a mild "good job" but no wild applause.

non-timed is ok for skills as long as you aren't taking 5 mins+ each move. I think the timer is more to keep the game moving for those that lack skill.

I think timed is significantly more impressive because one must use more brainpower to think of a move in less time.

I suck at chess. I get beat by the computer most of the time when I play the one that comes with Vista(Chess Titans).
