It's all about post count, isn't it? Let's see, at 1/2 post per day, I will catch up with RossMAN in about.... uh oh.
 
i look at the count in relation to the area of posting. high posting in ot means the person basically has no life and nothing to really offer. high posting in the tech means the person at least contributes in a worthwhile manner, and doesn't just throw out garbage for the sake of bumping up their post.

for me, resetting to zero wouldn't have any impact.
 
It reflects something, not sure what but someone with 50,000 posts is extraordinary on some level, whether its the fact that they really have no life or they must always be communicating every thought in their head, or an isolated extrovert (contradiction) or just a plain old attention whore, to me someone who has a couple of hundred posts says they have at least been around long enough to get the vibe of the place, although not necessarily, it's TAO thing it means everything and it means nothing. :beer:
