do you buy(believe) hypnotism?

I prefer it for free. One day in psych class, the prof hypnotized the entire class and suggested that when he called on us, we would walk up to the board and write our name the same way we did when we were six years old.
When it was my turn, I was astounded. I hadn't seen that penmanship in 15 years! Some of the women in the class actually wrote their maiden names and weren't aware of it until later. It felt like my arm was on rails. It was cool.

i was hypnotized by tom deluca, and made to sing baby one more time to a cround over 1600. i didnt remember it, and its on video.
I've seen demonstrations, sure hard to explain if not for real, but apparently I'm in that group that can't be hynotised so it's hard to buy.
I have heard of people being hypnotized and it seems for real in some cases. Until I have been hypnotized or at least seen it done I'm skeptical.
Nothing mysterious about hypnotism, just read some valid research on it. You'll see it's nothing but relaxation techniques and the power of suggestion.

I've been hypnotized before. I once saw this hot chick wearing practically nothing walk down the street. I ended up walking into the side of a building.
i believe, as i have personally been hypnotised, and it certainly wasn't any hocus-pocus. we had someone come into our class and do some. when she did people in front of the class, i couldn't really believe it. it was too crazy. but afterwards, people stayed behind and she did a group hypnotism, and it worked, i was totally gone. hard to describe what it's like. but basically it's like sleepwalking kind of. you're asleep but your body is still awake.
Hyponotism is real. How the media portrays it and people's thinking that it is some kind of "magic" is really stupid. You people are all probably hypnotozed at least once a day. Hypnosis is just a state of astute concentration, just like when you are caught up in a good movie or book. Except the hypnosis that hypnotists do make you concentrate only to their voice. It's quite real, I assure you.

i didnt believe it was real up until a couple weeks ago. on my birthday i was out with my friends and we ended up going to a hypnotist show, my friends made me volunteer and sure enough somehow i got hypnotized. Apparantly made me do all sorts of stuff, including telling me i was surfing at the beach so i took off my shirt and started surfin, telling me my feet were glued to the ground...my hands had superglue on them...and a buncha other stuff. All this in front of an audience of like 60 people, i would NEVER do this stuff regularly. It lasted for an hour and all i remember is waking up with my shirt off sitting on stage. It blew my mind. A chick in the audience took a video of it, i still gotta call her up and get a copy.

Actually, 9 out of 10 people can be hypnotized. The best subjects are those that are open minded, imaginative, and intelligent. Only you can choose if you want to be hypnotized. Nobody is forcing you, If you go to someone to try to get hypnotized and keep a closed mind about it and keep thinking to yourself that you will not be hypnotized, then you surely will not.

I've been hypnotized before. It works, though I didn't fully go under. It was just as easy to go along with the suggestions as it would have been to resist. I just preferred to see where it would lead.
As to how it's done, anyone with sufficient confidence and charisma can pull it off. It's an interesting subject.

Actually, you are not asleep at all. You are quite awake. When you are hypnotized, the aves in your brain are beta waves, just as if you were awake! All hypnosis is is an extreme form of concentration. Think of just a single ribbon of concentration between you and the hypnotists voice.
In this state, the power of suggestion is very great. The hypnotist can ask you to put your arm in a bowl of freezing water, water that would normally make you feel immense pain, and you would feel nothing, even after you awaken. Hypnosis is crazy cool. I want to become a hypnotist when I get older. People who do hypnosis to relieve pain can earn quite a lot of money.

I was hypnotized into doing a micheal jackson impersonation in front of the school. I remeber just feeling so relaxed you dind't really care about what you were doing.
