Everytime this topic comes up I have to push my campaign to make farting socially acceptable.

Sneezing and farting are both normal body functions, but farting in public is treated like some sort of horrible sin. Why can't we forgive the person, and say, "Bless you", instead of laughing or nervously looking around.

The next time someone farts observe how childish we are.

Sneezes rarely, if ever, emit a foul odor. They don't generally make sounds that are nearly as amusing either (generally).

i bless ppl when they sneeze, fart or belch.....heh

all 3 are bodily functions normally in reaction to something that the body doesnt appreciate (farting due to gas buildup from foods we shouldnt be eating, belching same, and sneezing is usually due to a dust build up, but sometimes other reasons, if my eyes catch the sun in the wrong way it sometimes causes me to sneeze..)

Think in the "Old days" if you sneeze you were thought that you were as good as dead, hence why ppl say "Bless you"
