Do you bite your cookies?

TallBill

Lifer
Like.. maybe an oreo? I've met people that bite into an oreo. Can the whole thing fit? Its less of a mess. Or perhaps a chips ahoy chewy. How big does the cookie have to be before you take a bite?

It depends on chewiness, size, and structure.
Orea or Fugee-O -> split into 2 parts, then eat
smallish hard cookie -> one bite
large hard cookie -> several bites
any soft cookie -> break pieces with hands

A true engineer's answer. 😛

Edit: And where's the poll?

Well what else would it be? And I have seen people bite it.
RaynorWolfcastle, that was fascinating.
Yes, but how does one classify what is a cookie and what isn't a cookie?

Eating cookies is an optimization problem: maximize the duration of cookie flavour while minimizing crumbs (wasted cookie). 😀

SOOO0000oooooooooo.......If you have a 2 ft cookie you have to swallow the cookie in one bite. 😉

I was going to scoff at your 2 foot cookie remark, but then I remembered that I've eaten a 2 foot cookie before... perhaps even a 3 footer.. I actually had to cut it, bite it, then eat it.

- Pop the entire oreo into mouth.
- Before biting/chewing, take a drink of milk.
- Procede to chew.
- This eliminates mess from crumbs, dripped milk during dipping and "cookie residue" at the bottom of the cup from said dipping.
