Should, yes. Can, yes. However, I think that often it's very hard in a corporate environment to live the ethics that you have in your personal life and moral code. Not impossible, but you truly have to pay attention and make a concerted effort to stay true to what you believe. Otherwise you slip into the easy patterns that abound at work of playing politics, saying whatever you need to say to get it done.

Business people? Yes they can and should behave ethically.
Corporations? No. Feduciary responsibility makes it almost impossible for corporations to behave ethically if it hurts profits. If ethical behavior lowers shareholder value the officers get sued.
