So do you believe overall you are a "lucky" person? Do you think you are "lucky" in some areas, but not others?

I have Newtonian luck:

For every incident of back luck, I will have an equal but opposite incident.

It's the Even Steven theory.

Lucky in the fact that I can make friends easily and get along well with others. Unlucky in the fact that I have to skills with women.

overall, i consider myself lucky to have the job i have and the kids i have. i am the most unlucky person in the world where relationships are concerned, but that may be due to my own intervention, so it may not be luck as much as it is just me.

Statistically speaking, I figure the average person has average luck. Since I am statistically above average, I must have above average Luck. The logic if FOOL PROOF...

Oh wait, how does one quantify luck?

Yes it does. Luck is a concept with a well defined meaning, and there are things in life that conform to that definition.

I'm a mathematician who makes casino games. Every game has a known distribution for single and multiple plays. Those distributions have extremes on either end (the low end defined as unlucky and the high end defined as lucky) which are difficult, but possible, to achieve. If you fall within that range of the distribution then that is luck by definition.
